New Internet Law Boutique Hires Yahoo Lawyer
A new Internet law boutique formed by two BigLaw refugees has hired Yahoo associate general counsel Elizabeth Banker.
She will be of counsel at the D.C.-based firm, Zwillinger Genetski, beginning in July, according to The BLT: The Blog of Legal Times. She is one of three new hires that bring the firm’s roster to seven Internet lawyers.
Zwillinger Genetski serves clients doing business in “cutting-edge areas of the web,” according to a statement by one of the law firm’s co-founders, Marc Zwillinger. He and Christian Genetski were both partners at Sonnenschein, Nath & Rosenthal before forming the new law firm.
Clients include Yahoo, MySpace and Cablevision.
