Insider Trading by Pillow Talk?
Two former stock analysts were charged with insider trading yesterday in a second case that claims a professional couple traded confidential information.
Charged were Xujia “Jennifer” Wang of Morgan Stanley and her husband Ruopian “Rubin” Chen of ING Groep NV, according to the Wall Street Journal (sub. req.). Prosecutors claim they made more than $600,000 purchasing stock in advance of three deals.
On the same day, lawyer couple Randi and Christopher Collotta pleaded guilty in an insider trading case.
The newspaper noted that the two cases involve claims of insider trading by pillow talk.
