Holland & Hart Expands by 29 Lawyers in Salt Lake City
Holland & Hart is expanding in Salt Lake City while Holme Roberts & Owen is shrinking there.
Seven more partners have jumped from Holme Roberts to Holland & Hart, after nine partners made the move in March, the Am Law Daily reports. In all, 29 lawyers have joined Holland & Hart, and all but two of them are from Holme Roberts, according to Law Week Colorado.
Among the lawyers making the move is energy partner Jody Williams, the former managing partner of the Salt Lake office of Holme Roberts.
Holland & Hart’s Salt Lake office now has 80 lawyers, making it one of Utah’s largest law firms, according to a press release. Most of the new attorneys are in the natural resources and litigation practice groups.
Only six lawyers remain at Holme Roberts in Salt Lake, but there are no plans to close the office, spokeswoman Terri Taylor told Law Week Colorado.
