GM’s GC Returns to Jenner & Block
The general counsel of General Motors is returning to Jenner & Block, the law firm he left in September 2006 to join the automaker.
Robert Osborne returned to the firm after helping GM emerge from bankruptcy in only 40 days, the Chicago Tribune reports. Before leaving Jenner, Osborne had chaired its corporate department. He returns to the same department as a partner.
At GM, Osborne oversaw more than 200 lawyers in 31 countries, according to a press release. He left in a management shakeup and was replaced by Michael Millikin, GM’s associate general counsel, the Detroit News reports.
