The creator of the Girls Gone Wild videos faces more legal troubles.

Joseph Francis was indicted yesterday on charges that he concealed income and that his companies claimed false business deductions on federal income taxes, according to the Associated Press.

The Nevada indictment came as Francis sat in a Florida jail after being arrested on a criminal contempt charge. The April 11 blog post on the arrest is here.

“The government has chosen to make a criminal case out of what we believe to be at most a civil tax dispute,” says Francis’ attorney, Jan Handzlik of Los Angeles.
