Fox Rothschild opens Chicago office
A well-known 600-attorney law firm based in Philadelphia has opened an office in Chicago.
At the helm of Fox Rothschild’s new office is Donna More, who previously was chief legal counsel to the Illinois Gaming Board, reports Crain’s Chicago Business (sub. req.).
Also on the attorney roster are three lawyers from Nixon Peabody, including Jeffrey Friedman and David Tanner. They co-chaired the real estate capital markets practice at Ungaretti & Harris before the Chicago firm was acquired earlier this year by Rochester, New York-based Nixon Peabody.
Managing partner Mark Silow said Fox Rothschild expects to have 10 lawyers in Chicago within six months and as many as 30 within three years.
“Our phone has been ringing since the word got out informally that we were doing this,” he told the business publication.
