Fox Rothschild is Acquiring Pastore Firm, Opening New Office in Stamford, Conn.
Three months after some former Dreier lawyers formed their own firm in Stamford, Conn., they are moving to a much bigger platform.
Fox Rothschild is acquiring the nine-lawyer Pastore Osterberg boutique, which will establish a 15th office for the 450-attorney Philadelphia-based national firm and convert the former Stamford office of Dreier into a full-service operation, according to a Fox Rothschild press release and the Philadephia Business Journal.
“This is a tremendous opportunity to continue our strategic growth by expanding into one of the fastest-growing business centers on the East Coast with attorneys who are highly regarded in the marketplace,” says administrative partner Mark Silow in the release. “The addition of Joe Pastore and Eric Osterberg, leaders in their fields of securities, technology and intellectual property litigation, is a natural extension of our New York office capabilities. We’re extremely pleased that Joe, Eric and their team will be joining Fox.”
Also joining Fox Rothschild from the Pastore firm are special counsel Regina Flaherty; counsel William Dailey, Robyn Sandak, Leanne Murray Shofi and Jennifer Shufro; and associates Paul Dehmel and Frances Codd Slusarz.
The group, which focuses on business litigation, will also enhance the operations of the 30-attorney New York office of Fox Rothschild, the Business Journal article notes.
The merger will be effective as of April 1.
