Fort Dix Terror Plot Alleged
Six New Jersey men have been arrested in a terror plot to storm Fort Dix with automatic weapons.
The group allegedly scouted several locations before settling on Fort Dix, according to WNBC-TV in New York. One suspect allegedly said he was familiar with the base because his family owned a nearby pizzeria.
Evidence seized included the downloaded will and testament of two Sept. 11 hijackers, according to the story.
Authorities were tipped off to possible wrongdoing by the owner of a video store where the men tried to have a videotape of a terrorist training exercise converted to DVD.
More details are expected be revealed in a news conference later today.
