A former partner with London-based Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has dropped her age bias case following a ruling for the law firm on similar claim.

Lois Moore had alleged that changes to the firm’s pension plan discriminated against older partners. Now she is unconditionally dropping all of her claims, Legal Week reports.

Freshfields is seeking to recover its costs in the prior case from the ex-partner who filed it, Peter Bloxham.

In October, the Central London Employment Tribunal ruled against Bloxham, who also challenged the pension changes. The tribunal said the law firm had made the changes in a proportionate manner for a legitimate aim.
