Eight More White & Case Partners Jump to Latham
Eight more partners at White & Case are moving to Latham & Watkins offices in New York City; London; Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Two of the lawyers who are going to Latham’s London office will join four others who already made the move there from White & Case, Legal Week reports. Among those already at Latham is Christopher Kandel, who co-chaired White & Case’s bank finance group in London, according to the American Lawyer.
The departing White & Case lawyers worked in corporate, banking and finance, according to Legal Week. “The departures will spark fresh worries about which clients will follow them,” the story says, “with the relationship with the likes of Deutsche Bank and Goldman Sachs under scrutiny.”
Since last summer, White & Case’s London office has lost five other high-profile partners as well, the American Lawyer says. They jumped to Ashurst, Ropes & Gray and Greenberg Traurig.
