DontDateHimGirl.com Suit Dismissed
A Pennsylvania state court judge has dismissed a defamation lawsuit filed by an attorney against DontDateHimGirl.com, which allows anonymous postings about men.
The lawyer, Todd J. Hollis, claimed postings falsely stated he has herpes, has multiple children, and is gay or bisexual.
Judge R. Stanton Wettick Jr. of the Allegheny County, Pa., Court of Common Pleas, said his court did not have jurisdiction over the Web site or its founder. All Web site operations are in Florida and it does little commercial business in Pennsylvania, the court said.
