The winter holidays are nearly upon us. Have you gotten in the spirit at work?
If you do an internet search, you’ll find no shortages of tips and ways to be festive for the holiday seasons for your office or cubicle—from turning your workspace into a gingerbread house to decorating with lights and even simple gestures like changing the desktop background to the current holiday on your computer. The University of Mary Washington also has guidelines on how to decorate and still be respectful and inclusive in the workplace.
This week, we’d like to ask: Do you decorate your workspace for the holidays? What are your favorite holidays to decorate for, including others like St. Patrick’s Day, Halloween, New Year’s and co-workers’ birthdays? Do you go all out or keep it simple? Do you have any decorating tips to offer?

“At the beginning of my practice, I decided to only have a four-day workweek. It makes a huge difference in the mental health. We are happier, more team-oriented and productive. And, most of our clients have no issue with the shortened week. If there is an emergency, my office line receives fax and text as well, so I can address any immediate issues.”
