An Oklahoma City lawyer who was recently disbarred has a role as I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby in an upcoming movie and is seeking other work as an actor.

Mike Gassaway has a “great commercial look,” according to his agent, and is seeking work in commercials and other roles in Texas, the Oklahoman reports. Gassaway was disbarred last month by the Oklahoma Supreme Court after it found sufficient evidence that Gassaway had agreed to trade legal fees for sexual favors and forged the signature of another lawyer on a letter, the Oklahoman reported in an earlier story.

Gassaway plays Libby in an upcoming Oliver Stone movie, W, about the Bush administration. A Washington, D.C., appeals court disbarred Libby in March because of his convictions last year for perjury and obstruction of justice in connection with an investigation into the leaked identity of a CIA agent.
