Disbarred Lawyer, Accused of Stealing From Would-Be Clients, Arrested After Fleeing
A disbarred lawyer accused of continuing to take money from would-be clients in Nevada was arrested on Friday as he got off a flight from Mexico.
Charles Radosevich was arrested in Phoenix on an unlawful flight warrant, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports. He disappeared before a scheduled Sept. 13 trial on charges of forging court documents and theft of more than $200,000 from clients.
Radosevich is disbarred in Colorado and Nebraska, and was never licensed in Nevada, according to previous reports. He was arrested in a sting operation in which two Las Vegas police detectives went to his office posing as potential clients.
Radosevich’s arrest follows that of a former Alabama lawyer accused of continuing to practice law after his license was suspended. Elliott Vogt, a 2003 University of Alabama law grad, was arrested late last month.
