Cartoon poll: Which of these captions really pops?
We had a great time reading captions about this balloon-bedecked prisoner and his departing attorney. Now it’s your turn to decide on the best one. The caption with the most votes will appear in an upcoming issue of the magazine.
Vote in the cartoon poll for one of the below captions before 11:59 p.m. CT Monday, Feb. 20.
• “He’s not much of a lawyer, but for 40 years he hasn’t forgotten my birthday.” —Submitted by Eugene G. Beckham of Miami
• “I asked for help keeping my head up, but I should have been more specific.” —Submitted by Daniel R. Kubiak of Grand Rapids, Michigan
• “How did the meeting with your attorney go?”
“He said these balloons had a better chance of getting me out than he did.” —Submitted by Kevin K. Peek of St. Louis
How to vote: Using our poll, select the caption you think best fits the scene depicted in the cartoon.
Voting period: Votes must be cast by 11:59 p.m. Monday, Feb. 20.
What’s the prize? Bragging rights. Plus, the winning caption and credit to the caption writer will appear in an upcoming issue of the ABA Journal.
