Cartoon Poll: Which emoji caption makes you LOL?
This month’s caption contest had us laughing out loud as we sorted through about 100 submissions. Now it’s your turn to decide what these emoji jurors are really feeling. The caption that receives the most votes will appear in an upcoming issue of the magazine.
Vote in the cartoon poll for one of the captions listed below:
• “Call me old-fashioned, but I can remember when reading the mood of a jury required some skill.” —Submitted by Paul M. Hauge of Newark, New Jersey
• “I move for a mistrial, your honor. The jury is clearly ‘emoji-onally’ compromised.” —Submitted by Lori Laird of Webster, Texas
• “Your honor, I wish to excuse juror No. 1 for cause. It appears that this juror does not have their head on straight.” —Submitted by Marvin A. Zuravsky of Columbus, Ohio
How to vote: Using our poll, select the caption you think best fits the scene depicted in the cartoon.
Voting period: The poll closes at 11:59 p.m. CT on Tuesday, Dec. 26.
What’s the prize? Bragging rights. Plus, the winning caption and credit to the caption writer will appear in an upcoming issue of the ABA Journal.
