Bingham’s Third Merger ‘Risky at Best’
Bingham McCutchen’s acquisition of Los Angeles litigation boutique Alschuler Grossman appears to be a good fit, but one recruiter says Bingham’s rapid growth is risky.
Alschuler will shore up Bingham’s Southern California litigation practice, the Recorder reports.
Bingham has merged with two other California firms in the last five years: McCutchen, Doyle, Brown & Enersen in 2002 and Riordan & McKinzie in 2003.
Legal recruiter Bill Nason told the newspaper that is “a fairly novel approach, risky at best.”
