An Australian law firm has been ordered to repay its client, after charging a former butcher $278,000 in an automobile accident case.

An appropriate bill for the services rendered by the Keddies law firm would have been $142,000, according to a cost assessor appointed after the client complained, reports the Sydney Morning Herald.

A total of $50,000 had already been voluntarily refunded to Chris “Wombat” McGrath, the newspaper notes. It says.

Among the expenses to which McGrath objected was an $8,600 photocopying bill.
