Biker Lawyer's Other Avocation: Dog (and Dachshund) Rescue
Personal injury attorney Jan Trendowski enjoys rebuilding and riding motorcycles, especially Harley Davidsons.
And, when he isn’t working at Trendowski & Allen in Centerbrook, Conn., he has another avocation: He and his wife, Liz, rescue dogs, especially dachshunds, reports the Connecticut Law Tribune in an article reprinted in New York Lawyer (reg. req.).
Learning of a group that combined both interests, he not only joined Bikers Against Animal Cruelty but became a board member of the North Haven, Conn.-based nonprofit.
“I had been looking for something good to do, something beyond my own little world,” said Trendowsk, who has been recruiting some of his clients to help with fund-raising efforts for BAAC. “This is a very nice crew of people.”
