Barnes & Thornburg opens Dallas office with 2 partners from Gardere Wynne
A well-known Midwestern law firm has planted its flag in Texas, opening a Dallas office with two litigation partners from Gardere Wynne Sewell.
Managing partner Bob Grand says Barnes & Thornburg expects the new office to have 15 to 20 lawyers within a year or so, Texas Lawyer (sub. req.) reports.
The 569-attorney Indianapolis-based law firm also has three more Indiana locations, as well as offices in Atlanta; Chicago; Columbus, Ohio; Grand Rapids, Michigan; Minneapolis; Los Angeles; Washington, D.C.; and Wilmington, Delaware. The Atlanta, Columbus, Los Angeles and Minneapolis offices were all opened in 2009 or later.
