Bar Group Wins Court Takedown Order re 'Solicitors from Hell' Blog
A bar group in the United Kingdom has won a ban on a disgruntled ex-client’s Solicitors from Hell blog.
The site had featured a devil in a red suit surrounded by flames on its homepage and purported to “expose these shameless, corrupt, money-grabbing, incompetent specimens of humanity.” However, it now comes up as a blank page following the High Court takedown order won yesterday by the Law Society, according to Legal Week and the Telegraph.
The group contended that operator Rick Kordowski was not only slandering the name of reputable law firms but misleading consumers to their detriment about available legal help.
The articles don’t include any response by Kordowski to the court ruling.
