Actor Jerry O’Connell has enrolled at Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, where at least one fellow student is posting Twitter accounts of the celebrity’s appearance at an orientation and a mixer.

Southwestern’s assistant dean of public affairs, Leslie Steinberg, told Usmagazine.com that O’Connell chose the school because he is “very impressed with the faculty and the vibe here. This is brand new to him as well. He’s very much looking forward to his education.”

O’Connell, 35, had roles as Quinn Mallory in the TV series Sliders and Detective Woody Hoyt in the show Crossing Jordan. He is enrolled as a part-time night student, E Online reports.

O’Connell is married to Ugly Betty star Rebecca Romijn; they are the parents of twins born in January.
