The ABA Journal recently took home a number of awards in two journalism contests—one for the national business press and the other for Chicago-area media.

The ABA Journal received 10 national awards, including three national gold awards, in the 2021 Azbee Awards of Excellence, sponsored by the American Society of Business Publication Editors. The Journal also won two Peter Lisagor Awards in the contest sponsored by the Chicago Headline Club.

“Despite working under truly extraordinary circumstances in 2020, the staff of the ABA Journal continued to produce important, compelling and interesting journalism,” said Alice E. Richmond, chair of the ABA Journal Board of Editors.

“I know I speak on behalf of the entire Journal Board of Editors in congratulating the Journal staff for the many awards in so many different categories. We not only have award-winning writing; we also have award-winning graphics and art design.”
