7 Ballard Spahr Lawyers Ready to Bolt from 40-Attorney N.J. Office
A group of at least seven attorneys is about to bolt from the 40-lawyer Voorhees, N.J., office of Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll.
Where they are headed isn’t yet known. However, news of the pending departure of the group, which is headed by the office’s managing partner, Benjamin Levin, was announced Tuesday in an internal e-mail from firm chairman Arthur Makadon, reports the Legal Intelligencer in an article is reprinted in New York Lawyer (reg. req.).
Levin is the partner in charge of the firm’s franchise and distribution practice, and many of the departing lawyers focus on real estate matters.
Ballard Spahr says labor and employment partner Steven Suflas will now head the Vorhees office, and issued a statement yesterday wishing Levin the best as he returns “to the small-firm environment he left a decade ago when he started Ballard’s New Jersey office.”
