2020 REGULAR STATE DELEGATE ELECTION
Pursuant to Section 6.3(a) of the ABA’s Constitution, 18 states will elect State Delegates for three-year terms beginning at the adjournment of the 2020 Annual Meeting. The states conducting elections and election rules and procedures can be found at ambar.org/2020-statedel.
2020 BOARD OF GOVERNORS ELECTION
The Secretary hereby gives notice that at the 2020 Midyear Meeting, the Nominating Committee will announce nominations for district and at-large positions on the ABA Board of Governors for three-year terms beginning at the conclusion of the 2020 Annual Meeting. The deadline for receipt of nomination petitions is Jan. 7, 2020. A list of the district and at-large positions conducting elections, and the election rules and procedures, can be found at ambar.org/2020-bogelection.
2019 DELEGATE-AT-LARGE ELECTION RESULTS
The 2019 Delegate-at-Large Election was contested. The following persons were elected to three-year terms as Delegates-at-Large to the House of Delegates at the 2019 Annual Meeting: Michael G. Bergmann (Illinois), Jose C. Feliciano Sr. (Ohio), Maryann Elizabeth Foley (Alaska), Leslie Miller (Arizona), Marcia Milby Ridings (Kentucky) and Darcee S. Siegel (Florida). NOTICE BY THE SECRETARY: NOMINATING COMMITTEE MEETING AT THE 2020 MIDYEAR MEETING
The Nominating Committee will meet in conjunction with the 2020 Midyear Meeting in Austin, Texas, on Sunday, Feb. 16, 2020, beginning with the business session at 9 a.m. Immediately following the business session, the Nominating Committee will hear from candidates seeking nomination at the 2021 Midyear Meeting. This portion of the meeting is open to Association members.
GOAL III MEMBERS-AT-LARGE ON THE NOMINATING COMMITTEE
The ABA President will appoint one Goal III Disability Member-at-Large, one Goal III Minority Member-at-Large and one Goal III Woman Member-at-Large to the Nominating Committee for the 2020-2023 term. These appointments will be made from broadly solicited nominations from the diversity commissions, sections, divisions and forums, state and local bar associations, and the membership at large. AMENDMENTS TO THE ABA CONSTITUTION AND BYLAWS
The Constitution and Bylaws may be amended only at the ABA Annual Meeting upon action of the House of Delegates. The next meeting is July 30-Aug. 4, 2020, in Chicago. The deadline for any ABA member to submit proposals is March 6, 2020. Proposals will be published in the June/July 2020 ABA Journal. For details, go to ambar.org/AmendmentsNotice.

MONTANA STATE DELEGATE VACANCY ELECTION
Pursuant to Section 6.3(e) of the ABA’s Constitution, the state of Montana will elect a State Delegate to fill a vacancy due to the passing of Damon L. Gannett. The unexpired term will commence immediately upon certification by the Board of Elections and will expire at the conclusion of the 2020 Annual Meeting. The deadline for filing petitions is Nov. 14.
