NOMINATING COMMITTEE BUSINESS SESSION AND CANDIDATES’ FORUM AT THE 2024 ABA ANNUAL MEETING
The Secretary hereby gives notice that the Nominating Committee will meet in conjunction with the 2024 ABA Annual Meeting on Sunday, Aug. 4, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. CDT (subject to change) at the headquarters hotel in Chicago, beginning with the business session at 9 a.m. Immediately after the business session, the Nominating Committee will hear from candidates seeking nomination at the 2025 Midyear Meeting. This portion of the meeting is open to all association members. Immediately following the candidates’ forum, the Nominating Committee will meet in executive session from 11 a.m. to noon CDT (subject to change).
2024 STATE DELEGATE ELECTION NOTICE
Pursuant to Section 6.3(a) of the ABA Constitution, 16 states will elect state delegates for three-year terms beginning at the adjournment of the 2025 Annual Meeting. The deadline for receipt of nominating petitions is Thursday, Dec. 5. Visit abajournal.com/2024-statedel to find the states conducting elections as well as election rules and procedures.

The Secretary hereby gives notice to the members of the American Bar Association that the meeting of the membership will be held in conjunction with the 2024 Annual Meeting in Chicago.
