GOAL III MEMBERS-AT-LARGE ON THE NOMINATING COMMITTEE FOR THE 2024-2027 TERM
The ABA president will appoint one Goal III Minority Member-at-Large, one Goal III Woman Member-at-Large and one Goal III LGBTQ+ Member-at-Large to the Nominating Committee for the 2024-2027 term. These appointments will be made from broadly solicited nominations from the diversity commissions, sections, divisions and forums; state and local bar associations; and the membership at large. If you are a member who is interested, submit a letter of interest and a resumé to [email protected]. The deadline for submission of credentials for consideration for these presidential appointments is Friday, May 17.
AMENDMENTS TO THE ABA CONSTITUTION AND BYLAWS
The ABA Constitution and Bylaws may be amended upon action of the House of Delegates only at Annual Meetings. The next Annual Meeting of the House of Delegates will be Aug. 5-6 in Chicago. Proposals to amend either the constitution or bylaws may be submitted by any ABA member. A proposed amendment must be addressed to the attention of the ABA secretary via the mailbox [email protected] and received electronically by the Policy and Planning Division by Friday, March 8, to be considered at the 2024 Annual Meeting.
