The ABA Journal is seeking names of innovators in legal practice to be considered for its annual Legal Rebel honors.

For the last seven years, the Journal has highlighted the accomplishments of lawyers and other legal professionals for their contributions to change in law practice. You can find profiles of the 121 current Legal Rebels here.

Because we wish to reflect that legal innovation is not limited to one ethnicity, gender, religion, location, or physical ability, we include diversity in our selection of Legal Rebels each year.

We are beginning our selection of the 2017 Legal Rebels now, and will announce the honorees in the September issue. But don’t take that as a deadline: Nominations are accepted all year long and can include the names received in the next year’s nominee list.
