“I think one of the things the legal and technology fields have in common is an intimidating learning curve, but knowing you can conquer one gives you invaluable courage that translates into a head start at conquering the other. While a legal background makes you very good at talking about abstract ideas, knowing practically how technology can (and cannot work) puts you in the driver’s seat to inform new and emerging tech policy. For women interested in legal technology, I would tell them to pursue it! Your expertise at this specific cross-section grows exponentially, it’s a deciding issue of our times, and we need women to be a part of that leadership.”
