Location: Alcatraz Island. Nicolas Cage and Sean Connery are one of those action-film odd couples who have to save San Francisco from a poison gas attack by disgruntled U.S. special forces members who take over Alcatraz Island, home of the notorious prison. The film also features some great panoramic shots of San Francisco itself, where the residents have no idea their lives are at risk because of the drama unfolding on the Rock.
