Instead the jurors ended up phoning the 800 number to Colonel Plucky’s Peep Fried Chicken Restaurant. Tensions were high in the court. The Judge questioned the court clerk responsible for sending the notices. He asked the clerk, “Why did this happen?” The clerk responded, “I thought it would be funny, and it is!” Experiencing high tensions himself, the judge instructed the bailiffs to take the clerk into custody.
