“I was about halfway finished with my judicial clerkship when a judge told me that happy lawyers have hobbies. I figured she knew what she was talking about and I decided to teach myself how to sew. I started off making bags and eventually worked my way up to garments.
“Sewing is the perfect distraction, I get wrapped up in a project and completely forget about workday stress. One of my favorite and most difficult project to date is this split sleeve dress. I shed a few tears completing the project, but I returned to work happier than ever once it was finished.”
