Jared Lee Loughner killed a federal judge and five others in a shooting rampage in Tuscon, Ariz., that also wounded former U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and 12 others. Loughner, who was later diagnosed with schizophrenia, pleaded guilty to 19 federal charges and was sentenced to seven consecutive life terms, followed by 140 years in prison.
