Digitizing documents can be a huge pain. But the PocketScan, which bills itself as the world’s smallest wireless scanner, is a tiny device that lawyers can easily keep in a briefcase. The device will partner with PCs, laptops, tablets or iOS and Android smartphones via Bluetooth. The text or images appear on the screen as you move the PocketScan across them, and its integrated text recognition software will allow users to edit directly in Word or Excel. The $149 product, made by Dacuda, also promises translation and text-to-speech functions.
