Healthy or not, caffeine remains an important part of most attorneys’ days. My father, who is in his fourth decade of practicing law, swears that the best coffee on earth is Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee, available in gift sets.

Others claim that honor for kopi luwak, the most expensive coffee on the market. An Indonesian coffee, kopi luwak is made from beans which have been eaten and excreted by the civet cat (which is why it’s perhaps more popularly known as cat poop coffee.) Believe it or not, there’s plenty of counterfeit kopi luwak out there, and there have also been animal-cruelty concerns raised about its production. But if you really want some, Amazon has listings.
