“I am lucky enough to work in-house for a company that promotes work-life balance and reinvests in its culture—a great place to land for a travel junkie. My passion for travel began long ago, but my idea of a great vacation doesn’t usually involve sitting under a palm tree in a beach lounger. My next adventure will take me to the jungles of Thailand and Cambodia. Since graduating from law school, I’ve explored the ruins of Machu Picchu, sandboarded in the Peruvian desert, skied some of the best mountains in North America, and trekked through Torres del Paine in Patagonia (pictured). There’s nothing like gliding down a powdery piste with the wind in your face, or rounding a bend in a trail to be greeted with a spectacular view of the turquoise waters and multiple shades of stone and snow in Torres del Paine. Unplugging for a trip, along with a dose or two of adrenaline, helps me refocus on my work when I return.”
