Lawyer is flattered by toddler's obsession with his TV ads
Lawyer Morris Bart’s biggest fan may also be his smallest fan.
Grayson Dobra, 2, is so obsessed with the New Orleans personal injury lawyer that his mother made Bart the theme of the boy’s birthday party in January, report the Advocate and the Wall Street Journal Law Blog.
Dobra’s birthday cake had an icing photo of the lawyer, and his presents included a Morris Bart cutout and T-shirt.
Dobra’s mom, L’erin Dobra. told the Advocate that her son was fixated on Bart’s “One call, that’s all” commercials before he could walk or talk. “He’s been that way ever since,” L’Erin Dobra said, “and when he started talking he would say, ‘One call’ or ‘Bart, Bart, Bart, Morris Bart, Morris Bart.’”
Bart declined an invitation to the party, but did send an autographed photo, Morris Bart key chains and a New Orleans Pelicans shirt displaying his logo on the back.
The request was unusual, but “I’m flattered by it all,” Bart told the Law Blog. “He might be a future lawyer,” Bart said of the boy. “That could be a future competitor of mine many years down the road.”
