Four antitrust partners at Howrey’s Washington, D.C., office have found a new home.

The lawyers are joining Covington & Burling, according to a press release. They are John Nields, Alan Wiseman, Andrew Lazerow and Jason Raofield.

The press release describes Nields, the co-chair of Howrey’s white-collar defense practice, as one of Washington’s most highly regarded lawyers. He was formerly a federal prosecutor and chief counsel of the House committee investigating the Iran-Contra scandal.

Wiseman was co-chair of Howrey’s antitrust practice.

The announcement follows news that Winston & Strawn has apparently withdrawn offers to Howrey’s Washington, D.C., lawyers because of client conflicts.
