Dinsmore to acquire 40-attorney law firm based in West Virginia
Dinsmore & Shohl is acquiring a 40-attorney law firm headquartered in Huntington, West Virginia.
Effective Feb. 1, the merger with Huddleston Bolen will also add 56 staff members to the Cincinnati-based Dinsmore, Louisville Business First reports.
“The Huddleston Bolen merger increases the heft, depth and breadth of our litigation group in Louisville, and that in turn benefits our clients,” said John Selent—who serves as managing partner of the Louisville, Kentucky, office of Dinsmore—in a statement provided to the legal publication. “Anytime we can deepen our bench of trial attorneys, it’s a good thing and provides our clients with more options in a difficult and stressful time.”
Chairman and managing partner George H. Vincent said in a law firm press release that Dinsmore anticipates further growth.
After the Huddleston acquisition, Dinsmore will have 575 attorneys in 18 offices in Colorado, Illinois, Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Washington, D.C.
