We had a great time sorting through more than 85 entries for this month’s hangman-themed caption contest. But we need your help picking the wordy winner. The caption that receives the most votes will appear in an upcoming issue of the magazine.

Vote in the cartoon poll for one of the captions listed below:

• “Counsel, we are all tired of your word games.” —Submitted by Andrew King of Little Rock, Arkansas

• “Mr. Prosecutor, the witness said she does not know the perpetrator’s name. Move on.” —Submitted by Katherine L. Merlin of Westminster, Colorado

• “Counsel, I’m stopping this line of questioning now. We don’t want a hung jury.” —Submitted by Stuart Ford of Boise, Idaho

How to vote: Using our poll, select the caption you think best fits the scene depicted in the cartoon.

Voting period: The poll closes at 11:59 p.m. CT on Sunday, Oct. 22.

What’s the prize? Bragging rights. Plus, the winning caption and credit to the caption writer will appear in an upcoming issue of the ABA Journal.
