The new class of On the Rise—Top 40 Young Lawyers award winners includes young attorney members from the Louisiana Supreme Court, Texas Civil Rights Project, Exxon Mobil Corp. and Elder Law of East Tennessee, the ABA Young Lawyers Division has announced.

Since 2016, the On the Rise award program has provided “national recognition for ABA young lawyer members who exemplify a broad range of high achievement, innovation, vision, leadership, and legal and community service.”

To qualify for the awards, candidates had to be ABA members, licensed to practice in the United States or its territories, age 36 or younger, and nominated by someone familiar with their professional work. A selection committee of current and past ABA leaders reviewed nominations to select the 40 lawyers honored in this year’s class.

Learn more about each of the 2019 honorees and view the previous three classes of winners at the On the Rise webpage.
