Location: Mission Dolores, built in 1791, making it the oldest structure in San Francisco. Vertigo is one of Alfred Hitchcock’s masterpieces, a brooding psychological thriller about identity, obsession and manipulation—and a lot of other things. The film’s famous graveyard scene was filmed at Mission Dolores, built by Father Junipero Serra as the Mission of San Francisco de Asis.
